Wayside Inn Wedding – September 2, 2012

Byron and Andrea tied the knot early this month at the beautiful Wayside Inn Chapel. The day was just a tad hectic and crunched for time, but ended up with a really pleasant ceremony (which included a science experiment!) and great reception in the dining room. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Nikon P310 Review

A bit of a mix between point and shoot and advanced compact, the P310 traveled to a meadery, Saratoga Springs, and the triathlon nationals for this review. If you haven’t tried either meade or horse racing, get to it! Maybe go for both at once?

Wayside Inn Family Portrait Session

We had lovely weather on Friday afternoon for a family portrait session, and the Nicholsons were all smiles! The Wayside Inn Gristmill is an amazing place for photographing, and we bumped elbows a couple times with other photographers taking advantage of the scenery and golden hour. Here’s a sampling of the photos from the session, enjoy.

Team Chobani Heads to Tri Nationals

Triathlon nationals were held in Burlington, VT this past weekend and saw over 3,500 athletes participate between the Olympic distance race on Saturday and sprint distance on Sunday. Team Chobani (officially Off the Front Multisport) had 5 members compete on Saturday, with Katie Hursey winning her age group and coming in third overall while captain Stephen Wright finished eighth in his age group. My brother Dustin placed in the mid-30’s for his age group and in 159 overall, pretty good! I also should mention that the Olympic distance includes a .9 mile swim, 25 mile bike, and 6 mile run. Team member Sonja Kent won the overall sprint triathlon on Sunday, so congrats to her!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to shoot Ian and Christine’s wedding celebration on Block Island.
