Community Advocate Photo of the Day

Westborough recently honored some local veterans who were taken as prisoners of war during World War II. You can see one of the photos from that ceremony on the Community Advocate’s website, and I’ve included two other photos here.

Marlborough - Private First Class Raymond J. Galgano describes his 15-month ordeal as a German prisoner of war during World War II at New Horizons on Monday morning. Mayor Arthur Vigeant honored the sacrifices made by Galgano and two other residents, former prisoners of war Seargant E. Russell Lang (sitting center) and Private First Class Frank Saunders (sitting left). Photo/Christopher Weigl
