Skiing at Alta

I brought the point and shoot along to Utah but realized it’s plagued with dust spots inside the lens. Not entirely sure how that happened, but it prevented me from taking nearly as many photos as I would have liked. These here have been painstakingly “de-dusted”. There wasn’t much snow on the mountain – we were constantly dodging rocks – but certainly more than there is here.

This is the view from the top of Collins looking out over Snowbird.

Warning sign along the traverse out toward Ballroom.

Some ski the shoots on this face when there's more snow.

The boundary line at the edge of Katherine's, a tree'd bowl only reached by hiking and a long traverse.

The view from the edge of Katherine's. Although this is outside the ski boundary, there were still tracks down into the valley.
